วันศุกร์ที่ 29 ธันวาคม 2566 เป็นวันสุดท้ายของงานประชุมวิชาการนานาชาติ Moving Forward in Unity (MFIU) 2023-Innovative Solutions for Global Aging and Dementia in the Digital Era: Nursing and Multidisciplinary Perspectives จัดโดยสำนักวิชาพยาบาลศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง วันนี้มีการบรรยายในหัวข้อที่น่าสนใจ ได้แก่ Revolutionizing Dementia Care โดยศาสตราจารย์ นพ.ประเสริฐ อัสสันตชัย นายกสมาคมพฤฒาวิทยาและเวชศาสตร์ผู้สูงอายุไทย เป็นวิทยากร การบรรยายเรื่อง The Latest Research and Advances in Dementia Care และ Nursing Education for the Super-Aging Society, Panel Discussion เรื่อง Palliative and end-of-life care, Advance Care Planning and End-of-Life Care for Individuals with Dementia และ Aesthetics in Nursing Practice in Caring for Persons at the End-of-Life ตลอดจนการแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ในหัวข้อ The Thai Culturally-Based Mutual Support Group Program for the Elderly with Behavioral and Psychological Symptoms of Dementia

นอกจากนี้ ในช่วงบ่ายยังมีการนำเสนองานวิจัยเกี่ยวกับการดูแลผู้สูงอายุ ทั้งรูปแบบ onsite และแบบonline จำนวน 4 ห้องย่อย ในประเด็น Interdisciplinary Approaches to Living Well with Dementia, Age-Friendly Community, Addressing the Complexity of Providing Care for Older with Specific Health Conditions และ Healthy Aging โดยในการประชุมครั้งนี้มีผู้เข้าร่วมประชุมจาก 6 ประเทศ

Friday, December 29, 2023, was the last day of the international conference Moving Forward in Unity (MFIU) 2023-Innovative Solutions for Global Aging and Dementia in the Digital Era: Nursing and Multidisciplinary Perspectives, organized by the School of Nursing. Mae Fah Luang University. There were interesting topics including Revolutionizing Dementia Care, which was a lecture by Professor Dr. Prasert Assantachai, the President of the Thai Society of Gerontology and Geriatric Medicine. A following topic was The Latest Research and Advances in Dementia Care and Nursing Education for the Super-Aging Society. After that, there was a Panel Discussion on three subjects: on Palliative and End-of-life Care, on Advance Care Planning and End-of-Life Care for Individuals with Dementia, and on Aesthetics in Nursing Practice in Caring for Persons at the End-of-Life. Two experienced researchers shared their experiences and learning on the topic of the Thai Culturally-based Mutual Support Group Program for the Elderly with Behavioral and Psychological Symptoms of Dementia.

In addition, in the afternoon there was a presentation of research on caring for the elderly, both onsite and online, in 4 separate rooms, on the topics: Interdisciplinary Approaches to Living Well with Dementia, Age-Friendly Community, Addressing the Complexity of Providing Care for Older with Specific Health Conditions, and Healthy Aging. Healthcare providers from 6 countries attended this conference.
