From August 13 to October 4, 2024, the School of Nursing at Mae Fah Luang University welcomed Ms. Marie Kopečková, a master's student from the Department of Nursing, Faculty of Health and Social Sciences, University of South Bohemia, Czech Republic, for an internship.
During her exchange, Ms. Kopečková gained hands-on experience with the Thai healthcare system, including exposure to traditional Thai and Chinese medicine at Mae Fah Luang University Hospital and the Mae Fah Luang University Medical Center Hospital. She also participated in clinical placements alongside fourth-year nursing students at Chiang Rai Prachanukroh Hospital. Additionally, she gave presentations about the University of South Bohemia and the Czech Republic to second- and third-year nursing students at MFU interested in next year’s exchange program.
MFU nursing student buddies supported Ms. Kopečková throughout her stay, fostering a valuable exchange of knowledge and experiences from different cultures and perspectives, which will benefit all students involved in their nursing careers.
This exchange program reflects the collaborative efforts under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed in 2013 between the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences at the University of South Bohemia and the School of Nursing at Mae Fah Luang University.

ในระหว่างการเป็นนักศึกษาแลกเปลี่ยน Ms. Kopečková ได้เรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับระบบการดูแลสุขภาพของไทย ประกอบด้วย การดูแลสุขภาพด้วยการแพทย์แผนไทยและแผนจีนที่โรงพยาบาลมหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง และการให้บริการสุขภาพของโรงพยาบาลศูนย์การแพทย์มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง นอกจากนี้ Ms. Kopečková ยังได้เข้าร่วมการฝึกงานในหอผู้ป่วยต่างๆ ร่วมกับนักศึกษาพยาบาลชั้นปีที่ 4 ที่โรงพยาบาลเชียงรายประชานุเคราะห์ ได้เยี่ยมบ้านเพื่อให้การดูแลสุขภาพของประชาชนในชุมชน โดยมีคณาจารย์ของสำนักวิชาพยาบาลศาสตร์เป็นผู้ดูแล อีกทั้งยังได้นำเสนอข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับมหาวิทยาลัย South Bohemia และประเทศสาธารณรัฐเช็ก ให้กับนักศึกษาพยาบาลชั้นปีที่ 2 และ 3 ที่สนใจเข้าร่วมโครงการแลกเปลี่ยนในปีถัดไป
นักศึกษาพยาบาลของมหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวงได้เป็น buddy ให้กับ Ms. Kopečková ตลอดระยะเวลาที่เป็นนักศึกษาแลกเปลี่ยน ซึ่งเป็นโอกาสที่ดีในการแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้และประสบการณ์จากวัฒนธรรมและมุมมองที่แตกต่างกัน ซึ่งจะเป็นประโยชน์ต่อการเรียนพยาบาลของนักศึกษาทุกคน
โครงการแลกเปลี่ยนนี้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของความร่วมมือภายใต้บันทึกข้อตกลง (MoU) ที่ลงนามในปี ค.ศ. 2013 ระหว่าง Faculty of Health and Social Sciences, University of South Bohemia และ สำนักวิชาพยาบาลศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง
