สำนักวิชาพยาบาลศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง ให้การต้อนรับ Assistant Professor Dr. Claire McKinley Yoder และนักศึกษาพยาบาลจาก Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) School of Nursing ประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา ซึ่งเดินทางเข้าร่วมโครงการแลกเปลี่ยนทางวิชาการ ณ มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง จังหวัดเชียงราย ระหว่างวันที่ 15–30 สิงหาคม 2569

ในโอกาสนี้ ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ชมพูนุช โสภาจารีย์ คณบดีสำนักวิชาพยาบาลศาสตร์ พร้อมด้วยคณาจารย์และทีมงาน ให้การต้อนรับคณะจาก OHSU และจัดกิจกรรม Orientation เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมสำหรับการเรียนรู้และการฝึกปฏิบัติทางการพยาบาล โดยมี อาจารย์ ดร.ปิยธิดา จุลละปิย ประธานคณะกรรมการส่งเสริมความเป็นนานาชาติ และคณะทำงาน ร่วมให้การปฐมนิเทศและแนะนำข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับสำนักวิชาพยาบาลศาสตร์ แนวทางการเรียนรู้และการฝึกปฏิบัติ ตลอดจนการใช้ชีวิตและการแลกเปลี่ยนวัฒนธรรมในประเทศไทย

นอกจากนี้ คณะจาก OHSU ยังได้เยี่ยมชม มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง และ สถาบันศิลปวัฒนธรรมและอารยธรรมลุ่มน้ำโขง เพื่อเรียนรู้บริบทด้านการศึกษา ศิลปวัฒนธรรม และสังคมของประเทศไทย ก่อนเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้และการฝึกปฏิบัติทางการพยาบาลร่วมกับคณาจารย์และนักศึกษาของสำนักวิชาพยาบาลศาสตร์ตลอดระยะเวลาของโครงการ

การแลกเปลี่ยนทางวิชาการครั้งนี้เป็นอีกหนึ่งกิจกรรมสำคัญในการส่งเสริม ความร่วมมือทางการพยาบาลในระดับนานาชาติ เปิดโอกาสให้อาจารย์และนักศึกษาได้แลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ ประสบการณ์ทางวิชาชีพ และมุมมองทางวัฒนธรรม ตลอดจนพัฒนาสมรรถนะและสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือด้านการศึกษาพยาบาลในระดับสากล

กิจกรรมดังกล่าวสอดคล้องกับ เป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน (SDGs) ได้แก่ SDG 4: Quality Education การส่งเสริมโอกาสการเรียนรู้และการศึกษาในบริบทนานาชาติ และ SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals การสร้างความร่วมมือระหว่างสถาบันการศึกษาเพื่อสนับสนุนการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน

MFU Welcomes OHSU Faculty Member and Nursing Students for International Academic Exchange

The School of Nursing, Mae Fah Luang University (MFU) warmly welcomed Assistant Professor Dr. Claire McKinley Yoder and nursing students from Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) School of Nursing, USA, who joined an academic exchange program at Mae Fah Luang University in Chiang Rai from 15–30 August 2026.

On this occasion, Assistant Professor Dr. Chompunut Sopajaree, Dean of the School of Nursing, together with faculty members and staff, warmly welcomed the OHSU delegation and organized an Orientation Program to prepare participants for academic learning and nursing clinical practice. Dr. Piyatida Junlapeeya, Chair of the Internationalization Promotion Committee, and committee members also participated in the orientation, introducing the School of Nursing, learning and clinical practice arrangements, as well as opportunities for cultural exchange and daily life in Thailand.

The OHSU delegation also visited Mae Fah Luang University and the Institute of Art and Culture and Mekong Civilization, gaining insights into Thailand’s educational, cultural, and social contexts before participating in nursing learning and clinical practice activities with MFU faculty members and nursing students throughout the program.

This academic exchange represents another important initiative to strengthen international collaboration in nursing education, providing opportunities for faculty and students to exchange knowledge, professional experiences, and cultural perspectives while developing professional competencies and building international nursing networks.

The initiative also contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, through international learning and educational exchange, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, through strengthened collaboration between educational institutions for sustainable development.
