จาก Fieldwork สู่โจทย์นวัตกรรม นักศึกษาพยาบาลเรียนรู้ Design Thinking ผ่าน Empathize & Define/From Fieldwork to Innovation: Nursing Students Explore Design Thinking

เมื่อวันที่ 14 กันยายน 2569 เวลา 13.00–17.00 น. สำนักวิชาพยาบาลศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง จัด Workshop 2: Design Thinking Skills (Empathize & Define) ณ ห้อง E5A-517 ภายใต้รายวิชา Design Thinking and Digital Technology for Health and Nursing Care สำหรับนักศึกษาพยาบาลศาสตร์ ชั้นปีที่ 2 เพื่อส่งเสริมทักษะการคิดเชิงออกแบบและการพัฒนาแนวทางแก้ไขปัญหาที่ตอบสนองต่อความต้องการของผู้ใช้ในบริบทจริง

กิจกรรมได้รับเกียรติจาก คุณภวัต ตันสุรัตน์ เป็นวิทยากร ถ่ายทอดความรู้และจัดกิจกรรมเชิงปฏิบัติการเกี่ยวกับกระบวนการ Design Thinking ในขั้น Empathize และ Define โดยมี คุณวิไลวรรณ จำปาทราย ฝ่ายสร้างความตระหนักในการเป็นผู้ประกอบการ ส่วนจัดการทรัพย์สินทางปัญญาและนวัตกรรม ร่วมสนับสนุนและอำนวยความสะดวกในการจัดกิจกรรม ทั้งนี้ คุณภวัตมีประสบการณ์ด้าน Business Plan และ Design Thinking รวมถึงการให้คำปรึกษาด้านธุรกิจและนวัตกรรมแก่มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง

ในการเรียนรู้ นักศึกษาได้นำข้อมูลจริงจากการลงพื้นที่ (Fieldwork) ของแต่ละกลุ่มมาวิเคราะห์และสังเคราะห์ เพื่อทำความเข้าใจประสบการณ์ ความต้องการ และปัญหาของกลุ่มเป้าหมายอย่างเป็นระบบ โดยเริ่มจากการจัดทำ Empathy Map และ Persona ก่อนสังเคราะห์ข้อมูลเป็น Key Insights & Pain Points และนำไปสู่การกำหนด Problem Statement และคำถาม How Might We…? (HMW) เพื่อใช้เป็นโจทย์สำหรับการพัฒนาแนวคิดและนวัตกรรมในขั้นตอนต่อไป

กิจกรรมเน้นการเรียนรู้แบบลงมือปฏิบัติ (Hands-on Learning) ผ่านการทำงานร่วมกันเป็นกลุ่ม การแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมอง และการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลจากผู้ใช้จริง ช่วยให้นักศึกษาได้ฝึกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลจากการลงพื้นที่ให้เป็นความเข้าใจเชิงลึกเกี่ยวกับผู้ใช้ ซึ่งเป็นพื้นฐานสำคัญของแนวคิด Human-Centered Design

การจัดกิจกรรมดังกล่าวเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการจัดการเรียนรู้ที่มุ่งให้นักศึกษาพยาบาลศาสตร์สามารถบูรณาการ Design Thinking เทคโนโลยี และมุมมองด้านสุขภาพและการพยาบาล เพื่อพัฒนาทักษะการคิดวิเคราะห์ การทำงานเป็นทีม และการสร้างสรรค์แนวทางหรือนวัตกรรมที่ตอบโจทย์ผู้ใช้และบริบทจริง อันเป็นทักษะสำคัญสำหรับการพัฒนาการดูแลสุขภาพในอนาคต

On 14 September 2026, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., the School of Nursing, Mae Fah Luang University, organized Workshop 2: Design Thinking Skills (Empathize & Define) in Room E5A-517 as part of the course Design Thinking and Digital Technology for Health and Nursing Care for second-year nursing students. The workshop aimed to strengthen students’ design thinking skills and their ability to develop solutions that respond to users’ needs in real-world contexts.

The workshop was led by Mr. Pawat Tansurat, who delivered knowledge and facilitated hands-on activities focusing on the Empathize and Define stages of the Design Thinking process. Ms. Wilaiwan Jumpasai, from the Entrepreneurship Awareness Unit, Intellectual Property and Innovation Management Division, also supported and facilitated the organization of the workshop. Mr. Tansurat has experience in Business Plan and Design Thinking, as well as providing business and innovation consultancy at Mae Fah Luang University.

During the workshop, students analyzed and synthesized actual data collected through fieldwork to gain a systematic understanding of their target users’ experiences, needs, and challenges. Each group developed an Empathy Map and Persona, identified Key Insights & Pain Points, and formulated a Problem Statement and How Might We…? (HMW) questions to define challenges for the next stage of idea and innovation development.

The workshop emphasized hands-on learning through group collaboration, exchange of perspectives, and analysis of data gathered from real users. This approach enabled students to transform fieldwork findings into deeper user insights, providing an important foundation for Human-Centered Design.

The activity forms part of the School of Nursing’s learning approach to equip students with the ability to integrate Design Thinking, technology, and health and nursing perspectives while developing analytical thinking, teamwork, and creative problem-solving skills. These competencies support the development of solutions and innovations that respond to users’ needs and real-world healthcare contexts.
