The MFU School of Nursing welcomed Dr. František Dolák, Vice Dean of Faculty of Health and Social Sciences, University of South Bohemia, Czech Republic

May 26, 2024 – June 2, 2024, MFU School of Nursing welcomed Dr. František Dolák, Vice Dean of Faculty of Health and Social Sciences, University of South Bohemia, Czech Republic. The purpose of this visit was to discuss on opportunities for collaboration, i.e., student mobility program, faculty mobility program, and academic & research collaboration. On the occasion of his formal visit, activities included meeting with the Dean of MFU School of Nursing, Asst. Prof. Dr. Chompunut Sopajaree, Vice Dean, Dr.Pimrat Boonyapuk, Assistant Dean, Asst. Prof. Dr. Katemanee Moonpanane, the Head of International Affairs, Dr. Piyatida Junlapeeya, International Affairs Committee members, and officers from the Global Relations Division, Mae Fah Luang University. There were introductions between both universities and a meeting with Adult and Elderly Nursing Department faculty members who facilitated the exchange students from University of South Bohemia. There were also a visit to Nursing Learning Resource Center of the School of Nursing and a discussion with Aging Care Team (ACT) and Nursing Innovation Research and Resource Unit (NIRR) regarding research collaboration. Dr. Dolák visited the Traditional Thai and Chinese Institute at MFU Hospital, tertiary care hospitals at both MFU Medical Center Hospital and Chiangrai Prachanukroh Hospital. He then visited Mae Khao Tom Subdistrict Health Promoting Hospital, a primary care setting. Additionally, cultural excursions in Chiang Rai Province were included in this visit.
