June 9-11, 2024, the MFU School of Nursing welcomed the Dean and members of Nursing Council of San Pedro College School of Nursing, Philippines. They were welcomed by the Dean of MFU School of Nursing, Asst. Prof. Dr. Chompunut Sopajaree, the Head of International Affairs, Dr. Piyatida Junlapeeya, and International Affairs Committee members. The visitors were led by the San Pedro College School Nursing Dean, Dr. Sarah Benadette Balena. The purpose of this visit was to discuss opportunities for collaboration, i.e., student mobility program, faculty mobility program, and academic & research collaboration. On this formal visit, activities included introductions between the two universities, a visit to the Nursing Learning Resource Center of the MFU School of Nursing, the MFU Medical Center Hospital, the Traditional Thai and Chinese Institute at MFU Hospital, the Mae Khao Tom Subdistrict Health Promoting Hospital, a primary care setting, and a discussion with the Aging Care Team (ACT) of the MFU School of Nursing regarding research and academic collaboration. Additionally, cultural excursions in Chiang Rai Province were included in this visit.
