สำนักวิชาพยาบาลศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง ร่วมกับศูนย์วิจัยและนวัตกรรมทางการพยาบาล (NIRR) จัดการบรรยายพิเศษระดับนานาชาติในหัวข้อ “Global Health Beyond Borders: Addressing Social Determinants of Health” เมื่อวันที่ 19 มิถุนายน 2569 ณ ห้องประชุมชงโค ชั้น 3 อาคาร M Square มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง

การบรรยายครั้งนี้ได้รับเกียรติจาก Professor Dr. Rohan Dexter Jeremiah จาก University of Illinois Chicago สหรัฐอเมริกา เป็นวิทยากรพิเศษ โดยนำเสนอแนวคิดและประสบการณ์ด้านสุขภาพโลก (Global Health) ที่มุ่งเน้นการจัดการปัจจัยกำหนดสุขภาพทางสังคม (Social Determinants of Health) ซึ่งมีบทบาทสำคัญต่อความเหลื่อมล้ำทางสุขภาพและคุณภาพชีวิตของประชากรทั่วโลก

เนื้อหาการบรรยายครอบคลุมประเด็นสำคัญ ได้แก่ ความเป็นธรรมทางสุขภาพมากกว่าความเท่าเทียม (Equity over Equality) การสร้างระบบสุขภาพไร้พรมแดน (Health without Borders) การส่งเสริมเสียงของกลุ่มประชากรชายขอบ (Amplifying Marginalized Voices) และการเชื่อมโยงองค์ความรู้จากงานวิจัยสู่การปฏิบัติและนโยบายสาธารณะ (From Research to Action)

กิจกรรมดังกล่าวได้รับความสนใจจากคณาจารย์ นักวิจัย นักศึกษา และบุคลากรด้านสุขภาพเป็นจำนวนมาก โดยเป็นเวทีสำคัญในการแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ระดับนานาชาติ เสริมสร้างความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับประเด็นสุขภาพโลก และส่งเสริมความร่วมมือทางวิชาการเพื่อพัฒนาระบบสุขภาพที่ครอบคลุมและยั่งยืนต่อไปในอนาคต

The School of Nursing, Mae Fah Luang University, in collaboration with the Nursing Innovation Research and Resource (NIRR) Unit, successfully hosted an international distinguished lecture entitled “Global Health Beyond Borders: Addressing Social Determinants of Health” on June 19, 2026, at the M Square Building, Mae Fah Luang University.

The event featured Professor Dr. Rohan Dexter Jeremiah from the University of Illinois Chicago, USA, as the keynote speaker. He shared valuable insights and global perspectives on addressing social determinants of health, emphasizing their critical role in shaping health outcomes and reducing health inequities across populations.

Key themes of the lecture included Equity over Equality, Health without Borders, Amplifying Marginalized Voices, and From Research to Action, highlighting the importance of translating research evidence into practical solutions and public policy initiatives that promote health equity.

The event attracted faculty members, researchers, healthcare professionals, and students, providing a valuable platform for international academic exchange and interdisciplinary dialogue. Participants gained a deeper understanding of global health challenges and opportunities for collaborative action toward more inclusive, equitable, and sustainable healthcare systems.
